Very informative in regards to the history of the buildings we were photographing as well as the tips for improving the quality and composition of the photos we took. Nice to be around other photographers (going out on a shoot on your own can in my opinion be a lonely exercise at times) who shared experiences and tips on improving photos. Jenny was great taking time to work with us individually as well as in the group setting. I would definitely recommend this mode of learning. Much more productive than spending hours on You Tube looking at videos etc. you can get immediate feedback on what you are doing.

Good event. I liked the list of subjects to look for. Maybe a few suggestions on how to do Street photography would be useful i.e. Close up/filling frame or distance. How to take candid type pictures etc. But a good introduction to a type of photography that I have never done or felt confident doing.

I enjoyed the workshop! Jenny was friendly and adept at explaining concepts. I liked the idea of looking for specific themes to photograph; it helped sort out the visual clutter and avoid getting lost in indecisiveness. Using my zoom lens was an interesting approach and gave me an idea of what focal length I would prefer to shoot at going forward. It was exactly what I was hoping for, and I ended up with some photos I really like!
